Hooray! I've just found another amazing Raw CHOC Smoothie Recipe and no need for bananas (although they can of course be added).

Add 1 heaped tbs CHOC Chick Raw Cacao Powder to 1/2 cup of milk, soya or rice milk and mix well. Pour into a blender and blitz in:
1/2 cup frozen berries
1/4 cup soy or natural (dairy) yoghurt
2 tbs peanut butter or tahini paste

Blend well, pour into glasses and simply enjoy!

Hi Galia

Still really enjoying making the chocolate. I was delighted to read your
lovely blog about how you got involved with all this. My story is similar
to your friend on the special diet - so many things I couldn't eat!
Suffered for a while with carob bars (yuck!) then discovered Stamp
Collection chocolate which was organic, sugar free and dairy free. This was
lovely for a while then the caffeine just seemed to make me hyper and
disrupt my sleep, even if I was only eating tiny amounts. Then they stopped
making it and for a while I just had to go choc free till discovering you.
The raw choc seems to agree with me so much better - and it's cheaper.

Lovely to know it's all fairly traded and the employees are well treated.
It's another good reason to keep eating!

By the way, the lady I bought the kit for as a wedding gift was thrilled -
much better than a toaster and something the whole family could get involved
with.

Kind regards as ever

Hi Sue,
I'm sure you can substitute it with blueberries or any other soft fruit/berries. I would recommend adding a bit more peanut butter or tahini to thicken the consistency.
Blending any fruit with raw cacao and any nut butter should work perfectly, I will try it out as well and do please let me know how yours comes out.

Hi Isabelle,
Many thanks for your comment! I find silicone moulds or plain ice cube trays work well (I'm sure in Sweden Ikea would supply these), but to be honest, you can even use simple plastic tubs like take-away or tupperware tubs. You just pour the melted raw chocolate mix into the plastic tubs (you can add fruit and nuts beforehand) and place in the freezer or fridge to set. Once ready, you push the chocolate out and you will get a proper raw chocolate bar! Have a look here on my website: http://www.chocchick.com/raw-chocolate-taster-kit-1283-0.html to see some images of the tubs I use and the end results.

Hope this helps and keep enjoying the raw chocolate making!
Amor y chocolate!

Hello! Found your site and I have copied some recipes. I live in Sweden and I am not sure what type of chocolate mould do we use for raw chocoates? I have a mould, I think it is called marble mould, it is very hard and my chocolates are totally stuck in there. I have to use a knife to help them get loose. Plesae tell me what type do you use and do you know a place online where I can get them?

Thank you! Raw food, wow! What a blessing to our lives!
